ICS-301 Incident Command System Forms Workshop

ICS-I301 provides a “supplementary review” and as a further “reinforcement of learning” for personnel developing the knowledge of the Incident Command System.

Description

Learning Outcomes: 

At the successful completion of this workshop participants will be able to demonstrate intermediate knowledge of ICS forms as described in the following topics and learning outcomes:  

  • Describe the process by which the Incident Action Plan (IAP) is developed and implemented, using ICS forms consistent with the Planning “P.” 

  • Identify the uses of an: 

  • ICS-201 Incident Briefing, ICS-211 Resource Check-In, ICS-214 Unit Log 

  • Identify the purpose of the preparation and distribution of, and describe the relationship of the information captured on ICS-215 and ICS-215A to other ICS forms commonly used in composing the IAP 

  • Identify the purpose of the preparation and distribution of, and describe the relationship of the information captured on the ICS-202, ICS-203, ICS-204, ICS-205 and ICS-206 form relative to the IAP. 

 

Target Audience:  

Individuals recommended to take the I-300 course include incident management personnel, including persons serving as incident commander, command staff, section chiefs, division/group supervisors, branch directors, and unit leaders in Planning, Logistics and Finance/Administration, select department heads with multi-agency coordination responsibilities, area managers, emergency managers, and multi-agency coordination centre /ECC managers.
